FRANCES PARKER's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Parker of Millsboro, DE passed away with her son and daughter-in-law by her side on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. She was 83 years old.
Frances was born on February 27, 1932 in Selbyville, DE to the late William and Audrey Quillen Duncan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Robert Parker in 2009, along with a sister, Doris Simpler and two brothers, Walter and Tommy Duncan.
She worked in the accounting department at H & H Poultry (later became Mountaire Farms) for 39 years, retiring in 1997. Frances was a member of Hickory Hill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed shopping, playing the keyboard and ukulele, spending time with her grandchildren, bus trips and going out to breakfast at the Mill Pond Restaurant with her friends. Frances was a kind, compassionate and outgoing woman who spoke her mind. She will be missed.
Frances is survived by a son, Donald Lee Hall and his wife Regina of Millsboro, DE; two sisters, Carolyn Jarvis and her husband Harry of Selbyville, DE and Donna Milne of Bishopville, MD; five grandchildren, D. Colby Hall, Quinten Hall, Cameron Hall, Kyle Byrum, and Megan Parker, along with three great grandchildren, D. Lucas Hall, K. Owen Hall and Sydney Kate Hall.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may visit from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
