FRANK JOHN WILKERSON ""BEEF""'s Obituary
Obituary of Mr. Frank Wilkerson ""Beef"" Frank John Wilkerson, known affectionately to many as ""Beef"" passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013. He was born on April 16, 1956 to the late Lorenzo B. Wilkerson, and Sylvia Rocker Wilkerson Fleshman, who survives him. He was a gentle kidder, who met regularly with the McDonald's Gang to help solve all the world's problems. He was endeared to his friends, and loved by his family. He attended Indian River High School, and had worked for Zonko Construction as a carpenter until failing health forced his retirement. He was an antique collector, loved auctions and was an ""amateur expert"" of antique bottles. He was an avid four-wheeler and a clever, wry jokester with a dry sense of humor. Best of all, he gave his heart to God at Blackwater Fellowship Church, where he was a member. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Fhilip Wilkerson, in October of 2011. He is survived by his mother: Sylvia Fleshman, and his his step-father, Albert Fleshman, of Greenwood, DE; a son: Freddie Wilkerson, of Millville; and his siblings: Burt Wilkerson, and his wife Linda, of Pineville, West Virginia; David Wilkerson, and his wife Loretta, of Fruitland, MD; and Sylvia Casteel, and her husband Greg, of Hemit, CA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, along with many cousins, extended family members and friends, especially his ""McDonalds friends."" A funeral service, and Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 1:00 at Watson Funeral Home; 211 S. Washington St; Millsboro, DE. Friends may call for viewing and visitation one hour prior. Pastor Dennis Bradford will officiate. Interment follows in Redmen Cemetery, Dagsboro.
