GARY CARMEAN's Obituary
Mr. Gary Carmean of Millsboro, DE passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was 70 years old.
Mr. Carmean was born on July 28, 1946 in Millsboro, DE to the late Frances Carmean. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Carmean in 1958.
Gary was a self-employed general contractor. He attended Zoar United Methodist Church in Millsboro, DE. Gary enjoyed vegetable gardening, deer hunting, fishing, traveling, boating, bowling, horseshoes and taking cruises. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by two daughters, Lori Showard and her fiancée Terry L. Nichols of Georgetown, DE; Myriah Carmean and her fiancée Zachary Uphold of Chincoteague, VA; six siblings, Shirley Davis, Roy F. Rogers, Barry T. Rogers and his wife Pam, Ralph W. Rogers and his wife Cindy, Linda R. Neal and her husband Wayne and David A. Rogers all of Millsboro, DE. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica, Jasmine, Lillian, Cody, Tori and Jayden. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
