Gary L. Lotman's Obituary
Gary L. Lotman, born on September 13, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, in Selbyville, DE, at the age of 66. He was the beloved son of the late Henry and Mary Lou (Packham) Lotman.
Gary spent most of his life in Baltimore, MD, before recently moving to Selbyville, DE. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in fishing, crabbing, and spending time at Ocean City, MD. A passionate sports enthusiast, Gary loved cheering on the Orioles and Ravens. His competitive spirit shone brightly as a member of a pool league, where his team’s skills earned them an unforgettable trip to compete in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed visiting the casino, embracing the thrill and excitement it brought. But above all, he loved to spend every moment possible with his family.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle, Ira Beyer.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Lotman; his loving children, Melissa Corprew (Scott) and Nicole Peterson (Ronald); and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Hupfer, Rylie Hupfer, and Jaxon Peterson. He also leaves behind his sister, Margie Andryszak; his aunt, Rose Beyer; cousins, Darlene and Brian Farrell, Lori and Ira Beyer, and Brian and Tracy Beyer; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
Gary’s warm heart, quick wit, and love for life will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the memories shared by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
