GARY M MUMFORD's Obituary
Mr. Gary M. Mumford of Millsboro, DE passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. He was 59 years old.
Mr. Mumford was born in Milford, DE to the late Merrill T. and Elizabeth E. Hall Mumford.
He retired from Barcraft Industries/SPI Inc. in Lewes, DE where he worked as a Pharmaceutical Line Technician.
Gary was a very easy going man with a great personality. He was comical, funny, loving, had a great sense of humor, and a huge generous heart. He loved NASCAR, dirt track racing, fishing, reading and cooking. Gary loved everything except politics and could be described as an amateur philosopher. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Hudson and her husband Eric of Seaford, DE; a sister, Denise Tyre of Millsboro, DE; a granddaughter, Emma; one niece, Dakota Tyre and a nephew, Chad Taylor, along with special friends; Kenny Coffin, J.R., Wayne and so many others too numerous to mention. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved feline friend, Mickey Blue Eyes that recently preceded him.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE, where the viewing will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Millsboro Cemetery.
