GEORGE F BAKER, JR's Obituary
Mr. George F. Baker, Jr. of Dagsboro, DE passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. He was 82 years old. Mr. Baker was born on December 16, 1919 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Oliver C. and Mary Hodgdne Baker. He is preceded in death by a brother and a sister. He retired from Delco Electric in Pennsylvania. He attended the Dagsboro Church of God. He was a member of AM Vets and the American Legion Post 28, and a member of the Navy Reserves. He loved to dance, garden and was a hard worker. He was on ""on the go guy"" at all times. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Baker of Dagsboro, DE; a son, George C. Baker and a daughter, Janice McClafferty; nine step children; Timothy, Arlene, Darlene, Tina, Roger, Russell, Jesse, Virgil and Sarah; special friends Dan and Barbara Delcollo and Linda and Wilber Eshelman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery, Iron Branch Road, Dagsboro, DE. Pastor Kim Tephabock will officiate.
