Obituary of Ginger Lee Kollock
Ginger Lee Kollock, 45, of Millsboro, DE passed away in the care of Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, PA on May 23, 2019. She was born in Lewes, DE to Charles R. Cordrey, Jr. and Trudy Mitchell (Cordrey) on April 20, 1974. She was a graduate of Sussex Central High School. She was a school bus driver, and had to retire early due to disability.
Ginger loved flowers and her rose bushes. She liked the movies, and her favorite was "Dirty Dancing." She loved it when her husband cooked for her. She was very outgoing, a real "fire cracker!" She loved animals, and will be leaving behind her beloved dog "Teddy" and the cat, "Luna" and her little bunny, "Bugs."
Ginger is survived by her husband, Ernest Kollock, whom she married on May 4, 2002, her father Charles R. Cordrey; mother Trudy Mitchell; and step-mother Eleanor Cordrey; and her two daughters: Miranda Kollock; and Mariah Kollock, both of Millsboro, DE. Also surviving are her siblings: Natalie Cordrey, of Millsboro; Emily Quillen (Sylvester, or "Bud") of Georgetown; and Brook Cordrey, of Bishopville, MD; and Josh Cordrey, of Bishopville, MD.
In addition, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family along with her special friend, "Big Mike" Kent.
A viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday evening, May 28, 2019 at the Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, from 6:00 PM till 7:00 PM. A funeral service and celebration of her life follows with Pastor Robert Hudson officiating.
Interment arrangements are private with the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Cystinosis Foundation at www.cystinosis.org
