Grace Virginia Meyers' Obituary
Mrs. Grace V. Meyers of Laurel, DE passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. She was 92 years old.
Grace was born in Pomeroy, PA to the late Joseph and Catherine Miller Lovell. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husbands Harold A. Fredd, Floyd W. Hartman and Lester Meyers in 2014, as well as three sisters, Emily Valente, Ruth Lovell and Margaret McCarraher.
She retired from Pillsbury / General Mills after 30 years of service. She enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, raising chickens, goats and other livestock.
Grace is survived by a special niece Sandra Boninu and husband Leon of Coatsville, PA; special friends, Trina Johnson and her husband Leon, Allen Rogers and his wife Debbie and Sandy Norris and her husband Bob. She is also survived by her feline companion "Ozzie" as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM for a time of viewing and visitation. Entombment will follow at St. George's Episcopal Church in Harbeson, DE.
