Obituary Of Mr. Harry Charles Dean
Mr. Harry Charles Dean of Millsboro, DE passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Bayhealth Medical Center Sussex Campus. He was 79 years old.
Harry was born on August 19, 1942, in Baltimore, MD to the late Thurman C. and Josephine Gentile Dean. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Harry Charles Dean, Jr. a sister Marlene Hass as well as his feline friend "Casper".
Harry retired from United Parcel Service where he worked as a driver for about 22 years. He and his wife Katherine retired to Millsboro, DE from the Anne Arundel County, MD area about 23 years ago. Harry enjoyed fishing, crabbing, traveling, camping bowling, and people watching. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Katherine Dean of Millsboro, DE; one son Michael Dean of Glen Burnie, MD; two brothers Thurman C. Dean Jr. of AZ and Robert Dean of FL. He was also blessed with two grandchildren Chelsea Dean and Shelby B. Dean as well as one great grandson. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
