Harry L. Milburn's Obituary
Harry L. Milburn, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, in Millsboro, Delaware. He was born on November 9, 1939, in Richmond, Virginia, the son of the late Ramon Meade Milburn and Mary (Moritz) Milburn.
After graduating high school, Harry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1960. Following his military service, he worked for Gumdrops Clothing Factory in Georgetown, DE and ended his working career as a serviceman for Fenwick Hardware, where he was known for his dedication, skill, and willingness to help others.
Harry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved gardening, working on computers, and watching football, faithfully cheering on his favorite team, the Washington Redskins, later known as the Washington Commanders. He found joy in staying busy, learning new things, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene Milburn; his son, Ramon Milburn III; grandson, Keith Heck; son-in-law, Steven Curtiss; daughter-in-law, Kristen Holston; stepson Doug Holston and siblings Marguerite Skeels, Carl Milburn, Ramon Milburn Jr., and Patricia Campos.
He is survived by his children, Dawn Curtiss of Harrington, DE, Daniel Milburn (Jeannette) of Parksley, VA, and Tina Rodgers (William) of Simpsonville, SC; daughter-in-law Monica Milburn of Germany; Stepchildren; Joann Crain of Salisbury, MD, Linden Holston of Florida, Terry Holston of Lewes, DE and Lori Hignutt (Paul) of Seaford, DE. In addition;14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and special friends Rosalie Walls, Trudy Milburn, and Mollie Esterson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, DE 19966, with a visitation from 10:00–11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately at Millsboro Cemetery.
Harry will be remembered for his service, his steady presence, and the love he held for his family and friends.
