Helen Ann Funds "Ann"'s Obituary
Helen Ann Funds, known as “Ann”, of Millsboro, DE passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was 71 years old.
She was born on December 7, 1951, in Seaford, DE to the late Ralph James and Helen Parker Smith.
Ann graduated from Millsboro High School in 1969 and Beebe School of Nursing in 1972. She earned her post graduate degrees from Wilmington University.
She is survived by her daughter Allison Funds; granddaughter Ara Wilson; grandson Avery Funds; and great grandson Amias Tilghman all of Milton, DE. She is also survived by her sister Lana Robb (Jeffrey) of Millsboro, DE; one niece Amanda Bailey (Lee) of NC and one nephew Alex Robb of Augusta GA; a special friend and caregiver Hellen Melendez of Milton and a special great nephew Abbott Bailey and great niece Audrey Bailey as well as numerous cousins and loyal friends.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, DE 19947, where the viewing will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Ann’s memory to Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Rd, Georgetown, DE 19947 or Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
