Helen Blanch Elizabeth Rutt (Possinger)
Helen Rutt of Millsboro and formerly of Selbyville, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2016.
Helen was born October 28, 1928. She was born in Monroe County, PA, daughter of the late Charles Possinger and Florence Detrick Possinger.
Helen worked in a toy factory in PA and owned Helen's Flea Market in Selbyville, DE for over 25 years. Helen was an avid collector of antiques of all types. She enjoyed painting, needlework and collecting glassware. She loved to feed and provide comfort to everyone. She will be dearly missed but lived a full and rich life.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Gail J. Rutt who called her Toot a, sister Doris Mackes and two brothers Russel and Ben.
Helen is survived by a brother Elmer, three daughters, Linda Phillips, Sherry Tschirschnitz and Loriann Steele She is also survived by grandchildren, Troy Phillips, Todd Bak, Stephen Tschirschnitz, and Austyn Steele as well as great grandchildren, Tyler Bak, Jacob Bak, Kara Bak, Brandon Tschirschnitz, Jamin Depasquale and Madalyn Tschirschnitz.
Services will be private for the family at Helen's request.
