HOWARD ANTHONY KERR's Obituary
Howard Anthony Kerr, 70, of Millsboro, and formerly of Blackwood, NJ passed away at home on March 20, 2013, surrounded by the loving care of his family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Florence McKissick and Harry Kerr. He was a retired Auctioneer for the Department of Defense, and was a Veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church. He loved, and was devoted to his wife and children, loved to play the banjo, guitar, and to sing. He loved to travel, dance and ""do the stroll."" He loved his cousins, hosted many get-togethers and family reunions. He played in the Fralinger String Band Back Bay Strummers, and was a member of American Legion Post 28. He is survived by his wife, Ivana Maggi Kerr, and his children: Adrianne Kerr, of Millsboro; Tonia Prate, and husband Rocco, of Moorestown, NJ; Noelle Borgesi, of Georgetown, and Jason Kerr, of Millsboro. He is also survived by 8 grand-children: Blake and Lauren Karrick; Isabella and Rocco Prate, Jr.; Vincent and Anthony Borgesi; Joshua Kerr; and Victoria Kerr. Also surviving him is a sister, Elaine Sala, of Millsboro and numerous extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his brother, Ken. A Memorial, and Celebration of his Life will be held at the Watson Funeral Home; 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2013 for viewing and visitation, and sharing. Interment will be private.
