Ida Mae Wheatley's Obituary
Ida Mae Wheatley, 91 of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Ida was born in Ocean City, MD on February 9, 1934, to the late Edward Jarvis and Margaret Baker. She was raised and lived in Ocean City till 1964, when she moved to the Millsboro area where she resided until her death.
Ida enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit Disney and to see her favorite character, Mickey Mouse.
In her younger years, Ida was co-owner in a landscaping and house cleaning business for many many years. She later became a homemaker who enjoyed shopping and cooking for her family.
Ida will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 26808 Dupont Blvd, Millsboro, DE.
