Isaac J. Adams ""Bunk""'s Obituary
Mr. Isaac J. ""Bunk"" Adams, age 60, of Lewes DE, loving husband of Shirley, went to be with God on July 20, 2012 surrounded by his family at home. Bunk was born on August 13, 1951 in Lewes, DE to the late John O. Adams and his mother Florence P. Adams, of Georgetown, DE, who survives him. He is also preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Scott Adams and a brother, Derek K. Adams. He graduated from Dover High School in 1969. He was employed by Nanticoke Homes for 13 years and Hugh H. Hickman & sons for 13 years before having to retire due to illness. He loved water skiing and was a member of the Glassmasters Ski Team and the American Legion Post 28. He was an avid NASCAR fan in particular #17 Matt Kenseth. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley Talley Adams and his best friend ""Freckles"" beloved canine; a brother, Eric Adams and his wife Karen of Georgetown, DE; nephews, Kris Adams and his wife Mindy of Millsboro, DE; nephew and god son Jamie Adams and Tess Shewell of Milton, DE; a nephew, Joseph H. Talley, III of Rehoboth, DE; niece and god daughter, Jennifer Adams of Millsboro, niece, Jodi Johnson and her husband Wayne Ridgeway of Clayton, DE; sister-in-law, Leslie Maschauer and her husband Carl of Georgetown, DE; sister-in-law, Joyce Talley of Fl; brother-in-law, Joseph H. Talley, Jr. of Frederica, DE; five great nephews, Kellan, Kasen, Sean, Brett, and Bradd; 2 great nieces, Hailey and Jenah; loyal friends and caregivers, Kenneth LeCates and Joseph H. Talley, III, a dear friend from high school, Denise Smith Samons of Pickering Beach, DE. Also survived by many aunts, uncles cousins, extended family and friends. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will follow at Cokesbury Cemetery, near Georgetown, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bunk's memory to the National Brain Tumor Society, 124 Watertown St., Suite 2D, Watertown, MA 02472.
