Roberta-- sorry to hear of John's passing-- John was a great friend during our school years, I have great memories of him especially when he picked me up at my house on his pony and took me to his house for a day of fun. Again my condolences ---- Joe Geiger ( class of 56 )
Miss Roberta, I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Johnny. I remember when he would come home from being on the tanker and one time when he brought home a piece of one of the long ropes from the ship. We got it tied up in one of the trees and we would all hang on it and swing. Brings back good memories. We all live in Arizona now since dad passed. We know Johnny Collins to be a loving, loyal, faithful husband, father, grandfather, son, grandson, and brother. His humility and humor were ever present in any encounter. We cherish his life and legacy in our family. We love you deeply Johnny Collins.
I am totally saddened to read of Johnny's passing. I have fond memories of the fun times we had at Millsboro High and of the reunions we enjoyed for years afterward. Johnny was always fun to be with and he will be sorely missed. Roberta, Skip and Robert please know that I share your grief.

When I was a kid a long time ago I would always go to uncle John's house he was really my cousin but always call him uncle John every Christmas and sometimes in the summer.he was a patient man with his son's Skip and Rob and me.in the summer he took his son's his wife Roberta and me on his boat Uncle John love to fish and go boating we fished,jump in to the water and all of us had a great time with Uncle John
