Janet M. Hudson's Obituary
Ms. Janet M. Hudson of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was 76 years old.
Born on April 14, 1949, in Frankford, DE, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty Revel West. Janet retired from the Sussex County office of Inland Bays where she was a dedicated secretary for more than 28 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends and shopping at Boscov’s. Janet was a devoted member of Crossroads Community Church, which she loved dearly. She will be remembered for her strength, her faith, and the love she shared with those around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Rae Hudson (Cle) of Greenwood, DE; her cousin and close friend, Donna Flood (Chuck) of Millsboro, DE; and her special friends, Faye Lingo, Debbie Sleighter, Sherman Littleton, and Randall Smith. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will cherish her memory.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Pastor Eli Gonzalez, Pastor Jeff Hudson, Vitas Hospice, and Crossroads Community Church for their compassion and support during this difficult time.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Prince George’s Cemetery, 32043 Ward Lane, Dagsboro, DE 19939.
