Jerry Lee Taylor's Obituary
Mr. Jerry Lee Taylor of Dagsboro passed away on January 8, 2017. He was 70 years old.
Mr. Taylor was born in Chincoteague, VA on October 14, 1946 to the late John and Emma Thorton Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Marion B. Tuman Taylor on January 4, 2016, as well as a sister, Jackie Russell.
Jerry was a self-employed cabinet maker and a Veteran of the DE National Guard. He was very skilled at cabinet making, countertops and woodworking. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and loved to spend time fishing and crabbing with his children. Jerry could be loving, friendly, jolly and loved to joke around.
He is survived by three children, Lisa Potts of Milton, DE, Dean Scott Taylor of Lewes, DE and Jason T. Taylor and his wife Linda of Seaford, DE, two sisters, Vicki Elwood and her husband Paul of Fort Myers, Fl and Rose Wright and her husband Tom of Chincoteague, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Robert Taylor, James Christopher Potts, Kari Epperson and Alisha Taylor as well as two great grandchildren, Starsha Epperson and Ryen Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE, 19966, where friends may call from 1 PM - 2 PM for a time of visitation with the family.
Interment will be private.
