Pam, I was just told of this very sad news by Belinda. I am so very sorry to learn of this. Although I had lost touch with you and John through the years, I still thought of your guys from time to time. John, like several others, was like a big brother that I never had. He was quick to give me mess, if I did or said something stupid, but also quick about giving praise, if I deserved it. I can hear him now: "BOY, you take forever to make up your mind, but once you do, you stick with that decision." And John cared for his mom, Denise, as well. He even took care of his stepdad Phillip, when many would have taken advantage of him. That says so much about the kind of person that I will always remember John to be.
