JOHN P BRADFORD, SR's Obituary
Mr. John P. Bradford, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was 82 years old. Mr. Bradford was born on October 13, 1931 in Wilmington, DE to the late Paul John and Ellen Braisch Bradford. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Nellie in 2009 and a daughter, Sharon McGinnis in 2007. He did many things over the years. He owned and operated The Sub House in Millsboro, did some farming and held various part time positions. He was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran having served in the Korean War. John liked to travel, was a student of the Bible, and was devoted to his family. ""Once a Marine, always a Marine!"" He is survived by three sons, John Paul Bradford, Jr. and his wife Valerie of Millsboro; William Bradford and his wife Sharon of Millsboro; Robert W. Bradford and his wife Keri D. of Dagsboro; two daughters, Linda D. West and her husband Ronald of Georgetown; Pat Eitner and her husband Tim of Georgetown; two brothers, George Bradford and Ted Bradford; two sisters, Delores Russell and Hilda Bradford. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, a dear friend Emma, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call after 11:00 AM.
