JOHN ROBERT GUNDERMAN's Obituary
Obituary of Mr. John Gunderman John Robert Gunderman, Sr. of Millsboro, formerly of Likens, Pennsylvania passed away on February 19, 2015. He was 82 years old. He was born in Lykens, PA to the late John Frank and Maude Rebecca Woods Gunderman on July 9, 1932. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a retired Machinist, and had served in the Likens Hose Company. It is said that he really put a hurting on the flounder population from his fishing boat ""Top Spud."" He was also a member of the Short Mountain Gun Club, and the American Legion Post 28. He was well known for his skill tying bucktails, and supplied three area bait stores. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved ""yard sailing."" He is survived by his wife Helen and three children: Sherry Griffith (Thomas) of Bowling Green, KY; John Robert Gunderman, Jr., of Englewood, FL; and David Gunderman, of Gastonia, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, with another one on the way! In addition, he leaves many extended family members and friends. A Chapel Committal Services is scheduled, with Military Honors, on February 24th, at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery; 2669 Patriot's Way, Millsboro, DE 1996. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Legion Post 28, on John J. Williams Hwy, Millsboro.
