John R. Hall Jr., 82, of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 8, 2026.
Born on June 23, 1943, John spent his life doing what he loved most: working with his hands and being outdoors. He was the proud owner and operator of Hall's Landscaping for many years. Through his business, he poured his heart into making the world around him a more beautiful place, establishing a reputation as a deeply dependable and exceptionally hardworking man.
To know John was to love him. He possessed an incredibly large circle of friends and a family that adored him. Above all things, John was a devoted husband, a loving and caring grandfather, and an adored great-grandfather who worked tirelessly to ensure his family was always taken care of.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his stepdaughter, Kelly; his brother, George; his granddaughter, Nicole; his grandson, Bobby; and his six cherished great-grandchildren, Charlie, Mikey, Joey, Remi, Ariana, and Johnny.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Church St, Millsboro, DE 19966. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Millsboro Cemetery.
