JOHN MICHAEL HODGSON, SR's Obituary
John Michael ""Mike"" Hodgson Sr., age 67, of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital, Monday July 7, 2014 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born to the late Charles and Sarah (Veasey) Hodgson. He was skilled in all phases of construction, specializing in masonry. He was retired from AP Croll & Sons, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, playing cards, pool, slots and riding with his many friends. He was a member of the American Legion and BCA Pool League where he received many trophies and awards. He was preceded in death by sisters Sara Matarese, Patricia Simmons and a brother Thomas. He is survived by a son John (Laura), brothers Charles (Marjorie), Fred, Philip; sisters Margaret Durnan (Fritz), Jeannie Malice (late Thomas), Nancy Parker (Thomas); 4 grandchildren, Justin, Sarah, Hunter and John Ill.; many nieces, nephews, additional family members and friends. He will be dearly missed by all. A public Celebration of Life service will be held at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, DE on July 20, 2014 at 11am. Internment is private.
