John W Kelley's Obituary
Mr. John W. "Jack" Kelley of Millsboro, DE and formerly of Bayville, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. He was 75 years old,
Mr. Kelley was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Harold and Edith Mitchell Kelley. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Brown and a brother Kenneth Kelley.
He was a Veteran of the USMC during the Vietnam Era, where he earned the rank of Sergeant.
After his discharge he became an Executive Chauffer for Wester Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies. Jack was a member of the American Legion Post 28, Marine Corp League, AM Vets, VFW and Vietnam Veterans Association. He was very sociable, funny, and loved black cars. He enjoyed getting out and being with his friends. His friends called him "Happy Jack"
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Patricia Kelley of Millsboro, DE; a son, Travis Kelley also of Millsboro, DE as well as many acquaintances, friends and extended family. He is also survived by his beloved canine friends Brody and Rocky, several cats and a parrot.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on April 12, 2019 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Marine Corp League Foundation, PO Box 180, Franklin, NC 28744 or the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 DuPont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947.
