John Albert Stephenson's Obituary
John Albert Stephenson, Jr., of Millsboro, Delaware and formerly of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania passed away at Paoli Memorial Hospital in Willistown, PA on Friday, May 11, 2012. Born on February 4, 1947 in Chester, PA - he was the son of the late John Albert, Sr. and Emily Elizabeth Tinley Stephenson. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, a member of AM-Vets Post 2; the American Legion Post 28. His hobbies and avocations included boating; cooking; crafting with stained glass, and tending and cultivating the art of Bonsai trees. He was a retired Welder. His greatest attributes: being a family man; a wonderful father and grandfather. He was good to everyone he met. He was very thoughtful and considerate, great ""big brother"" and great ""little brother."" He is survived by his children: Alethia Szymurski, and husband Brian, of Trainer, PA; Joshua Stephenson, and wife Nina, of Boothwyn, PA; and Timothy Stephenson, and wife Nicole, of Aston, PA. He also has one sister: Sandra Arbuckle and husband, Samuel, of Parksburg, PA; and a brother: Jerry Martin, and wife Paula, of Millsboro, DE. Three grandchildren: Mackenzie Stephenson; Gianna Stephenson; and Joshua John Stephenson, Jr. A funeral service and Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, May 18 at 12:30 PM at Watson Funeral Home; 211 S. Washington, St. Millsboro, DE with the Pastor Allen Miller officiating. Friends may call for visitation and greeting the family from 10:30 AM till 12:30 PM. Interment follows at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, with the conferring of Military Honors. Floral tributes are welcomed.
