Cottontail, as we called him ... he was a great man/cousin ! Have so many GREAT memories , HUNTING AND FISHING even some drinking ,WITH HIM ! He taught me so much; some good and some bad, lol ?? But we still had fun together !! As a NAVY squid he loved to argue which side of boat is Port and Starboard ?? His answer was depends on which way you face the boat !! In the last year or so when I stopped by to see him he would be watching the old cowboy movies , now I'm hooked on them !! He will be dearly missed but suffers no longer and is in a better place , my prayers are with the family . . . K G

I worked with Joe when I first started with the phone company, hew as a very special person, he talked of his family always with love and respect. Joe always had a smile and kind word to me. When he was having a challenging day you would know to stay away. He was protective like a father. I will always remember him. Prayers to the family. He will always be a great man! I really like Hoss, as I called him. He always treated me good as you did when growing up. I remember when he found a baby pheasant and I kept it in a box. All the times I hid in your underground garbage can during hiding seek you guys never yelled at me. He was a great man and I had alot of respect for him and enjoyed his company. I only met Mr. Cottony in the last months of his life, that I can remember, he always had a warm smile, and a firm handshake. He made me feel right at home. I wish I could be there to say good bye.
