Joseph George Sevick's Obituary
Mr. Joseph G. Sevick of Dagsboro, DE, and most recently Milford Place, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. He was 86 years old.
He was born in Baltimore City, MD, on December 4, 1939, to the late Emanuel A. and Anna Elizabeth Soellner. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Norma Louise Sevick and step daughter Michelle Campbell.
Joseph was a machinist at Bethlehem Steel Plant in Baltimore. He also served in the U. S. Navy stationed with the U. S. S. Darby at Newport, Rhode Island, as an Auto Mechanic.
Joe’s passion was spending and enjoying all his time with Norma. He enjoyed going out to dinner with Norma and visiting with family and friends. He was a loving, devoted husband to Norma taking care of her every need. Joe will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his two step sons Mark A. Powell and his wife Phyllis of Harford County, MD, and John W. Powell and his wife Bonnie of New Freedom, PA. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Rachel (Powell) Peak, Kristin (Powell) Ruzicka, Justen Campbell, Madisen Campbell; and great granddaughter Millie Louise Ruzicka, as well as extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Rd, Dagsboro, DE 19939. Letters of condolence may be emailed via [email protected]
