Obituary of Mr. Joseph Paul Wilbraham:
Joseph Paul Wilbraham, 73, of Georgetown and formerly of Lewes and Newark passed away on March 26, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. He was born on January 17, 1943 in Camden, NJ to the late Joseph and Martha Wilbraham. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt in the Mediterranean Tour of Duty from 1961-1964. His hobbies included carpentry, boating and fishing. He retired from I.C.I America in 1995. He was a member of the American Legion Post 17, the Moose Lodge and B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge. He is survived by two sons: Joseph and Christopher; three step-children: Wendy C. McQuaide, of Georgetown; William A. Clineff, of Georgetown; and Christina R. Heron, and her husband, Jerald, of Georgetown. Christina was his caretaker. He also has two sisters: Mary Ann Sylvestro, of Pennsville, NJ; and Betty Jane Wilbraham, of Carney's Point, NJ. And a grand-daughter: Kaylie Ann Clineff, of Omaha, Nebraska. He also leaves behind his former wife, and special best friend, Rita Wilbraham. He was preceded by his beloved lab "Duke" recently.
A funeral service is scheduled at 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro with the Rev. Marjorie Egger officiating. Friends may call two hours prior, from 10 AM till Noon. Interment follows with Military Honors at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. The family requests instead of flowers sending memorial contributions to the Delaware Hospice Center; 100 Patriot Way, Milford, DE 19963.
