WILLIS, JOSEPH SR. Joseph Willis Sr, 96, formerly of Canton, MD, died Feb. 16, 2015 in Dagsboro, DE, where he had resided with his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Hornbacher, of Blackwater Village since 2005. He is survived by his daughter Linda and husband Gary; grandson Robert (and Meghan) Hornbacher and great grandchildren Madelyn, Riley and Sophia, of Towson, MD ; son Joseph Jr (and Patricia) of Perryville, MD, grandchildren Blaine, Bradley and Brandi and great grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence, of Baltimore. A retired Bethlehem Steel worker and WWII veteran, devoted husband of Thelma nee Rose (deceased), Joe enjoyed time spent outdoors with pets, gardening and remained an avid poker player. A viewing will be held from 4-5 pm, Feb. 19 at Watson Funeral Home , 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966 ; burial will be held privately on Feb. 24 at Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville MD. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Disabled American Vets or a local SPCA.
