Judith Ann Hassler's Obituary
Judith Ann Hassler passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, in Laurel. Born on October 28, 1947, in Washington, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary (Goddard) Bradford.
Judith dedicated many years of her life to her work at Townsends Inc., where she was admired for her reliability, skill, and unwavering work ethic. A talented seamstress, she poured care and precision into every stitch. Outside of work, she found joy in bowling, playing poker, and tending to her garden — a place where she felt both peace and pride.
Judith also shared a special bond with her beloved Rottweiler, Duke, who was truly her “baby.” His loyal companionship brought her comfort, laughter, and unconditional love, and he remained a cherished part of her daily life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hassler Sr., who passed away on February 20, 2012.
Judith is lovingly remembered by her sons:
• Robert Eric Hassler and his wife Alisa
• Roy Allen Hassler and his wife Maryanne
• Roger Lee Hassler and his wife Kristina
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Robert Hassler Jr. and his wife Taylor, Catherine Hassler, Matthew Marchioni and his wife Megan, Amanda Kloid and her husband Alex, Steven Hassler and his girlfriend Shannon, Dale Hassler, Kortney, and Kalissa and her boyfriend Ethen.
Her great-grandchildren — Ellie, Avery, Ella, Perry, Trey, Kayden, Teagan, Sienna, and Tucker — brought her immense joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Her nieces and nephews.
