Kelley Lynn Dukes of Millsboro, DE passed away suddenly into the loving arms of God after a short illness on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was 54 years old. She was born in Milford, DE to Wayne and Linda Messick Dukes on Au Read Obituary
Kelley and I rode the bus together and later worked together at Baltimore Trust/Mercantile. She was a great person and friend. We shared our love of baseball. We had lost touch until last year and were going to see each other and then COVID hit. Rest in peace, dear Kelley, we will miss your lovely smile you are now a lovely angel.

Linda and Wayne,All of us have know each other forever, fifty-eight years for me. I've always considered you folks family. I remember going to your house and playing with Kelley. We always had a great time. I was privileged to work with Kelley at Baltimore Trust in Bethany Beach, which later became Mercantile. We had a lot of fun there. Kelley was a beautiful soul inside and out. Her passing just doesn't seem real, I will truly miss her. I know she's in heaven having a great time with her mom-mom's and pop-pop's. Some people you just never forget. I met Kelly on Ms Jean's school bus in 1979 and shared those few miles of bus travel for a few years. Her presents was always positive and her words kind to anyone around her. The lord called home an angel that will be there to greet us all when it is our time. Blessings and comfort to the family. I met Kelley my freshman year of college the early 80s girls that we were. She was one of very few other Sussex county students at our small college. She had a particular connection to my hometown of Laurel at the time even though she resided in Dagsboro then. We became fast friends and eventually roommates for the duration of my college life at Goldey-Beacom. She was the sweetest soul you could ever meet, we had lots of similar interests in Music,the Cowboys and even got me to like to Phillies for a bit. And as with Delaware, the longer we knew one another the more people we found in common along with things we enjoyed. As the years passed we would go longer periods of time between catch ups. But she was one of those people the time never mattered its like we just had lunch a week ago and no time had elapsed at all. My heart breaks for her parents having to endure the ultimate loss that of a child's passing. Kelley is definitely flying with the angels now, may she rest in eternal peace, and may God console Linda, Wayne and all her loved ones at this most difficult time.
I remember going to school with Kelley & being bridesmaids with her in Rose Lynch' s wedding. My deepest condolences & prayers to her family.
