Kenneth George Dorsey's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth G. Dorsey, of Lincoln, DE passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. He was 87 years old. Mr. Dorsey was born in Baltimore City, Maryland on February 11, 1925 to the late Harry E, and Teresa M. Dorsey. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Saranne Mohrey Dorsey in 1994 and a son, Stephen Celia in 1985. Mr. Dorsey was a retired Baltimore City Police officer and also retired from the Maryland State Armory. He was a US Navy Veteran having served in WWII. He was a life member of the MD Law Enforcement Officers Association, Maryland CEA, Inc. He can be described as an animated character with a very strong will. He loved the water, boating, John Wayne movies and going to the Casino. He is survived by 2 daughters, Kathleen Lewis and her husband James of Hollywood, FL; and Victoria Dorsey of Lincoln, DE and Kenneth Dorsey, Jr. of Milton, DE; three grandchildren; Tonya, Tim and Kaylee. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE with conferring of Military Honors.
