Kenneth Eric Fad, "Eric" as everyone knew him, passed away on September 24, 2022, at the Tidal Health Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford from a sudden illness. He was the son of Linda A. Jewell and Frank J. Jewell, who survive him, and his stepmother: Dana Jewell. He was 60 years old. He was a graduate of the Howard T. Ennis School and worked as an assembler at Kent Sussex Industries. He loved bowling, horses and drinking beer. He was a big fan of McDonalds. He overcame disability and challenges in his health to become a beloved and productive person. He was stubborn, which turned out to be a special blessing that carried through his life's difficulties. If he liked you, you would know it! He was a fan of being drawn on and tattoos. He had a hand full of people he especially liked and considered his "special friends:" Jim Gatti; Jennifer Gatti; Delanie Gatti; Cole Gatti; Cheryl Billbrough; Alexandra Billbrough: "Aunt Sandy" Gatti; also including Pat Lewis and Jeffrey Hitchens.
Eric is also survived by his extended Jewell family and other friends, and his co-workers at KSI. His funeral arrangements are private, and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to either Special Olympics of Delaware, 619 South College Ave., Newark, DE 19716 or to the Howard T.
