Kimberly Ann Salisbury's Obituary
Kimberly Ann (Larkin) Salisbury, of Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. Kim made long lasting friends everywhere she lived from Las Vegas, NV, Eugene, OR Diamond Point, WA and Millsboro, DE. Kim's parents, Kenneth P. Larkin and Mary K Larkin predeceased Kim. She is survived by her loving husband Bob Salisbury and her stepson, Michael Salisbury as well as her siblings, Terry Larkin, John Larkin, Lynn Larkin, Pat Kuntz, Cathy Friedli, and Phyllis Armstrong; her nieces and nephews, Dan Ward, Brad Ward, Erin Lenser, Kristin Friedli, Justin Larkin, Kendra Sulejic, Katie Olson, and Kelly Kuntz. She will be greatly missed not only by the Larkin family but the Salisbury family including mother-in laws, Pat Salisbury, Jean Hornsby and Bob's siblings: Stephen Hornsby, Jenn Eule, Lisa Hornsby, Deborah Heller and Liz Tisdale. All will miss her smile, her huge heart and devotion to family and friends
Kim was born and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada attended elementary through college there, graduating from UNLV with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in accounting. She enjoyed a rewarding career working at the Lionel Sawyer Law Firm for eight years, in Eugene she enjoyed working at the local newspaper, the Sheriff's Office, finally finding her happy spot working for the Special Education Department of the 4J School Districts, in Eugene OR for 13 years.
Kim was an extremely loving and giving soul who cared for everyone she met. Kim was known for reaching out to any individual she saw in need and throughout her adult life, prepared and distributed care packages to the homeless. Kim made a difference by being a faithful contributor to charities that support both people as well as animals in need. She was a caring part of each community she graced and kept those friendships for life. Kim was well loved by her girlfriends from her youth as well as new friendships forged in every community, she called home. She was passionate about assisting those that are in need through her personal actions, continual charitable donations, and her involvement in her local community. Aligned to what mattered to Kim, the family asks that in lieu of flowers please donate to one of these organizations that touches your heart like it did hers; Shriners Hospitals for Children, 4Ocean, and the ASPCA.
