Leon Joseph Harmon, Jr.'s Obituary
Leon Harmon, Jr. (Mickey), was born on November 11, 1946, to the late Sarah Harmon and Joseph Harmon, Sr. in Lewes, Delaware.
He attended Jason High School were he graduated. Leon later enlisted in the United States Army receiving a honorable discharge. Leon held various jobs in his youthful years and settled in a career as a Tractor Trailer driver, driving from coast to coast. Leon was married to the late Catherine C. Harmon for over three decades. Leon (Mickey) was a family man and a great provider for his family. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved watching Car Races, Boxing, and an occasional football game.
Leon (Mickey) was preceded in death by his Father Leon Joseph, Sr., and Mother Sarah Harmon. Two sisters, Marion and Linda Harmon. And two brothers, George and Larry Harmon.
He is survived by three daughters: Lisa Bolden, Pamela Coleman, and Ardie Bolden. Two brothers, Rodney Harmon and Robert (Roselyn) Harmon. One sister, Sarah (Daniel) Snipes. One aunt, Gladys Street. One sister-in-law, Mildred Harmon. Companion Sandra Dandridge. And a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Watson Funeral Home & Crematorium, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, DE 19966, with a viewing beginning at 10:00AM prior to the start of the service.
