Leslie was such a presence in my life as I transitioned from teen to adulthood. She was full of life and love and laughter. Gabe and Zak, I used to babysit you when you guys were toddlers along with David Wolff, my then husband. But mostly, your mom and I would cook, she taught me many recipes, and we would spend Saturday nights watching tv with her and your dad. She loved you both to pieces. We reconnected through Facebook years ago and her personality shone through her frequent postings, sharing the ups and downs of her life. We will all miss her dearly. Dear Zak and Gabe and your families,Your mom was a true friend to me in Baltimore. We laughed, took you all to Chinquapin Park, carpooled, baked cookies, cried, drank coffee by the gallon and talked and talked. The day I left Baltimore for Texas was made much harder to leave you all behind Les and I remained friends for all these years. Loving a friend means through the good and bad you stay. I will miss her more than I can say.
A true friend, without her encouragement I would have never gotten through high school.
What a joy your Mother was to know and such a blessing to have had in our lives. Leith Walk, Swan Lake, and OC...those are the memories we'll always be grateful for along with so many others. Leslie will be in our hearts forever. God bless you all. And much love.
