Linda M. DePrinzio's Obituary
Linda M. DePrinzio, age 75, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, at Atlantic Shores Nursing Home in Millsboro, Delaware.
Born on August 9, 1949, in Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Sara Jane (Dodds) Rounds. Linda was a proud graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1968. She dedicated many years of service to the City of Chester as an administrative assistant in the Mayor’s office, where she built a reputation for her sharp wit, loyalty, and strong work ethic.
Later, Linda joined the Wawa family, where she worked for over 30 years in the accounts payable department. Her time at Wawa was more than just a job—she truly cherished the friendships she made there and often spoke of her coworkers as her extended family. After retiring at the age of 65, Linda moved to Lewes, Delaware with her sister to care for their mother.
Linda had a zest for life and a love of travel, particularly enjoying annual cruises with her Wawa family. In her downtime, she could be found watching her favorite game shows, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her son and granddaughter, whom she loved fiercely and spoke of with immense pride.
Known for her sarcastic humor, candid nature, and big heart, Linda was as unforgettable as she was loving. Her strength, humor, and unwavering support will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Vincent DePrinzio, in 1993.
She is survived by her son, William DePrinzio; her cherished granddaughter, Ashley Brooke DePrinzio; her siblings: Bil Rounds (Denise), Beth Magnin, and Sally Smith (Vic); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will remember her fondly and miss her deeply.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
