Linda Ann Walsh's Obituary
Linda Ann McGinnes Walsh, age 61, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 6, 2026, after a hard-fought and courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on February 5, 1964.
Linda grew up in Lewes and Milton, Delaware, and attended Cape Henlopen High School. She spent many years working in the cleaning industry, where her strong work ethic and dedication were well known.
A true crafter at heart, Linda was always fixing something, making things with her hands, or finding creative ways to improve what was around her. She was a good cook who enjoyed feeding those she loved, but above all, she was a devoted mother and an exceptional grandmom. Linda was a strong, hardworking woman who gave endlessly of herself to her family and will be remembered for her resilience, generosity, and love.
She is survived by her children, Hope McBee and her husband Jeff, and Brian McGinnes; her beloved grandchildren, Eric, Tyler, Jeffrey, Jordan, Rennee, and Hannah; and her companion, William McGinnes, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her son, William McGinnes, Jr.
At Linda’s request, there will be no services held at this time.
Her family will forever cherish her memory and the strength, love, and creativity she brought into their lives.
