Linda Diane West's Obituary
Linda Diane West, age 72, of Georgetown, DE, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2025. She was born in Wilmington, DE on September 28, 1953, daughter of the late John Paul and Nellie Genevieve (Worting) Bradford.
After graduating high school, Linda went on to work as an assistant manager for Ames, where she was known for her dedication and friendly nature. She was an avid collector of Ducks Unlimited items and enjoyed spending her time watching her favorite television shows, especially The Waltons. Linda loved traveling to West Virginia and had a deep affection for animals, particularly her beloved chows.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law: Sharon and Mac McGinnis; and nephew Troy Bradford. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Lee West; her two step-children: Rhonda Turner (Carlton) and Brad West (Jennifer Negron); her two step-grandchildren: Brittany Long (Jesse) and Brooke Turner; her siblings John Bradford (Valerie), Bill Bradford (Sharon), Robert Bradford (Keri), and Pat Eitner (Tim); her nieces and nephews: Tammy Eitner and Sherri Longfellow (Aaron), April McGinnis (Bud), Heather Serman (Guy), Robert Bradford, Jr., Kelly Bradford (Mike), Calvin McGinnis (Stacy), Bill Bradford, Jr., & Lindsay Bradford; and multiple great nieces & nephews, and aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, DE 19966, with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the start of the service. Interment will follow at Carey’s Camp Cemetery.
Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, love of family, and gentle spirit.
