Lynn M. Williams' Obituary
On March 15, 2024, Lynn M. Williams, of Millsboro, DE passed away at the age of 73. She was born on February 18, 1951, in Reading, PA, Lynn was the cherished daughter of the late Arnold and Patricia Patterson Blad. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Williams, Jr., a daughter-in-law Cassie Youse, a granddaughter Alyssa Youse and a sister Jacqueline Blad.
She dedicated 36 years of her life to Shorts Marine, where she served as an Administrative Assistant, leaving a lasting impact with her dedication and professionalism. Outside of work, Lynn found joy in various activities, from enjoying lunches, bus trips, events at the Millsboro Senior Center to indulging in her passion for gardening, crafting, and shopping. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the kind of person that put other needs before her own. Her presence brought warmth and love to her family and friends. Lynn's memory will be treasured dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Williams is survived by three children: Christopher W. Youse and his wife Kimberley of Millsboro, DE, Brian S. Youse and his wife Traci of Millsboro, DE and Patricia A. Youse and companion Gregory Wootten Jr. of Seaford, DE; and one brother Denny Blad of FL. Fourteen grandchildren and Eighteen greatgrandchildren along with her beloved canine companion “Riley” will cherish her memory.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, with a visitation from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at the Millsboro Cemetery.
