Obituary of Marcella Williams
Marcella Williams of Selbyville, DE was born on November 14, 1962. She departed this earthly life on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE. She was 58 years old.
Born in Whaleysville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ella Mae Williams. In addition to her parents Marcella is preceded in death by four siblings, Clarence Williams, Jr, Navada Tingle, Ronald Hall and Ella Boone.
She received her education at Indian River High School. Over the years she had worked at several restaurants as a cook in Ocean City, MD. She then went to work at Mountaire Poultry in Selbyville, DE in their cafeteria.
Marcella is survived by four sisters, Alice Price (Kendall) of Berlin, MD, Ernestine Tindal of Millsboro, DE, Sallie Showell (Drayton) of Bear, DE, and Gloria Johnson (Ronnie) of Millsboro, DE. She is also survived by three brothers Melvin Williams of Hemet, CA, Stanford Williams of Berlin, MD, and John Williams (Daphne) of Selbyville, DE as well as two God Daughters Mysheka Williams of Seaford, DE and Leshai Johnson of Millsboro, DE.
A viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966. A graveside committal will follow at Curtis United Methodist Church Cemetery on Campbelltown Road in Bishopville, MD.
