Marilyn Anne Densten's Obituary
Marilyn Anne Densten, born on October 14, 1946, in Camden, New Jersey, daughter to the late Doris (Pratt) and Walter Puckalowski, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 10, 2025, at the age of 78.
With grit and grace after graduating from Triton Regional High School in 1965, she embarked on a successful career as a paralegal, proving to be both sharp and compassionate in her professional endeavors. It was at the Blenheim Bible Youth Group where she first crossed paths with her future husband, Paul Densten, a bond that was further revealed when they discovered they had attended the same elementary school in the third grade. This stroke of fate led to a beautiful marriage of 59 years, during which they raised three wonderful children.
The couple shared a zest for life, materialized through travel and adventures in their camper and eventually a motor home and cherished moments on the drive-on beach at Assateague Island. Mrs. Densten will be fondly remembered as a true Jersey girl with a fiery spirit who loved reading, watching Eagles football games and NASCAR, and especially for Martin Truex Jr., her favorite driver. Her legacy continues through the warmth in her kitchen, her personal recipe book which will continue to be guarded by her daughter.
Mrs. Densten is survived by her husband, Paul, her three children: Scott Densten (Dana) of Burlington, NJ, Keith Densten (Pamela) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Kimberly Koukaras (Michael) of Ellendale, DE; five grandchildren: Briana and Caitlynn Koukaras, and Jacob, Thomas and Amber Densten; and step-granddaughter Zoey-Marie.
Services for Mrs. Densten will be private.
