Marion C Graves' Obituary
Mrs. Marion C. Graves of Millsboro, DE and formerly of Wilmington, DE and Florida passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017. She was 88 years old.
Marion was born in Newark, DE on August 9, 1928 to the late Frank and Elizabeth Higgins Morris. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by 7 siblings.
She was a member of Bethany Community Church in Laurel, DE; the Elsmere Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary in Elsmere, DE; Eastern Star. She loved to play cards and spend time with her family and friends. She was a sweet lady who would do anything for anybody, always had a kind word and had a gentle soul. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles E. Graves of Millsboro, DE; five children, Sandra L. Graves of Millsboro, DE; Janice M. Vickers and her husband William H. III of Millsboro, DE; Charles L. Graves and his wife Beverly of Georgetown, DE; Marion "Patty" Graves of Millsboro and Deborah A. Hoover and her husband Robert T. Jr. of Wilmington, DE; 10 grandchildren, Billy, Tina, Kate, Lenny, Kirtis, John, Michael, Jesse, Bobby and Amber, along with 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from 1 PM - 2 PM for visitation with the family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Bethany Community Church, c/o Janice Vickers, 19930 Lowes Crossing Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966.
