Marjorie K Keener's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie K Keener of Selbyville, DE, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was 90 years old.
Marjorie was born on November 28, 1926 in Waynesburg, PA to the late Stanley and Minnie Isabel Phillips Kuhn. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard B Keener. Marjorie and Richard celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in June of 2016.
She taught school for many years and her students remember her fondly to this day. She had a wonderful sense of humor and brought smiles to many. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her friends and traveling and she loved the Eastern Shore. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara S. Gatski and her husband John McMullan of Salisbury, CT; two sons, Richard B. Keener, Jr. and his wife Donna of Apollo Beach, FL and Robert S. Keener and his wife Debbie of Clifton, VA as well as 6 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
