Mark Wayne Collins' Obituary
Mark Wayne Collins left this world unexpectedly on July 18, 2024, at the age of 63. Mr. Collins was born on February 11, 1961, in Milford, DE, to the late Martha (Elliott) and Granville Collins.
Mr. Collins proudly spent his career shaping the world as a skilled carpenter—a trade that not only showcased his artistic abilities but also his dedication to detail.
Memories will be recounted in the cherished stories shared by his dearest friends: Wayne Littleton, Pres Mumford, WJ Revel, Harry Kitchen, and Dale Hudson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Mitchell, and brother Melvin Collins Jr. Mr. Collins is survived by his girlfriend Sharon Eaton; his brother Dale Collins, Sr. (Bobby) of Frankford, DE; his two daughters: Holly Marie Hammond (Brandon) of Georgetown, DE and Melissa Ann Collins (John Morrill) of Greenwood, DE; and two grandchildren: Payton and Braelyn Morrill.
A man of varied interests, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life such as visiting casinos, channeling his creativity into crafts, meticulously detailing cars, and embracing the serenity of hunting and fishing.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 11:00AM at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium, 211 South Washington Street, Millsboro, DE, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10:00AM.
