MARY JANE CORDREY's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Jane Cordrey of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was 83.
Mrs. Cordrey was born in Bridgeton, NJ on June 15, 1932 to the late J. Everett and Thelma Acton Bowen.
She graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1950 and attended Goldey Beacom College in 1951 and 1952. She worked in the Millsboro School System for 21 years and was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard S. Cordrey of Millsboro, DE; two sons, Richard Joseph Cordrey and his wife Valery of Millsboro, DE, Stephen Bowen Cordrey and his wife Kimberly of Millsboro, DE; one sister, Carol Bowen Sockwell, sister-in-law, Ina Cordrey, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where there will be a visitation from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the St. Mark's Episcopal Church Cemetery.
