Obituary for Mary Monaco Maturo
Mary Monaco Maturo, 90, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2017 at the Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehabilitative Center, Millsboro, DE.
Mary was born on November 6, 1926 to the late Modesto and Antonette Polligreenie Monaco in New York, NY. In her youth, the family relocated to Seaford, Delaware. Mary attended the Seaford Public Schools, graduating from Seaford High School. She spent many years working in her parents' and family restaurant, Monaco Restaurant, also located in Seaford.
While Mary had no biological children, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Joanne and Joseph Massaro were very dear to her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Modesto and Antonette Monaco; and four brothers, Frank, Dommie, James and Tony Monaco.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, one sister, Daisey Monaco Massaro; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be private.
