MARY E MORELAND's Obituary
Mrs. Mary E. Moreland of Georgetown, DE passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Moreland was born in Bridgeville, DE to the late Samuel and Sarah E. Harris Millman. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death husbands James H. Taylor in 1965 and Clete Moreland in 1996, as well as two sons, Harry Taylor, and James Taylor, three brothers, Donald Millman, Nelson Millman and Alton Millman, a sister, Dorothy Hudson and a granddaughter, Melissa Ann Webb Swift. Mary retired from the State of Delaware where she worked at the Stockley Center as an attendant. She also worked at the Starting Gate as a cook. She was a member of the Millsboro Wesleyan Church. She loved to sing hymns, go to baseball games, and loved animals. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. She is survived by three daughters, Clara A. Webb and her husband William of Georgetown, Ruth E. Taylor Headley and her husband George ""Lope"" of Georgetown, Debra Hudson and her husband Halton of Millsboro; six grandchildren, Dawn L. Davis, James R. Taylor, Harry W. Taylor, Jeffery Hudson, Brad Hudson and Brian Hudson as well as fourteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE, where friends may call after 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at McColley's Chapel Cemetery in Georgetown.
