Obituary of Mary Ann Olsen
Mary Ann Olsen, 80, of Ocean View, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE. She was born in Brighton Heights, Pittsburgh, PA on July 18, 1941, daughter of the late George A. McLane and Anne McLane.
After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Mary Ann worked as a pharmacist at Sewickly General Hospital. In May of 1965, she married her husband William and moved to Oakhurst, NJ. She continued her work as a pharmacist at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Upon retirement, Mary Ann and her husband moved to Ocean View in February 1994.
She was a member of St. Luke Parish in Ocean City, MD and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by two daughters, Andrea Burns and her husband Frank and daughter Emma of Rockville: and Gayle Van Horn, and her husband Scott and their children Charlie and Kinsey, of Centerville, VA.
She is also survived by her sister Barbara Pavlasky and her husband, Robert, of the Villages, FL and their children David and Robert, and their children Stephanie and Joey.
