MARY SUE TINGLE's Obituary
MarySue Tingle, 85 of Selbyville, DE, departed this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at home. She was born in Painter, Virginia on December 8, 1929, to the late Evelyn Chandler of Millsboro, De, and Samuel Chandler of Philadelphia. In addition to her parents, MarySue was preceded in death by her loving and devoted companion of 61 years; Conwell Showell; one daughter Delema Mitchell; five brothers; Lynn Chandler, Sam Chandler, Charles Chandler, John Chandler and Elton Ames
MarySue worked at Showell Poultry and retired after 30 years. She enjoyed setting up for yard sales and going to Harrington to the casinos. She also loved music and dancing; she could surely dance.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories; four daughters, Connie Mann and Lavern Tankard both of Dagsboro,De, Annette (Victor) Street of Millsboro, DE, and Denise Showell who lived at home with her and was her caregiver in Selbyville, DE, two sons, Harry Tingle of New Castle, DE, Conwell, Jr -"Rick" (Darlene) Showell of Millsboro, DE, one brother Welcie (Minnie) Chandler of Frankford, DE., one sister-in-law Vita Savage of Selbyville, DE, a son-in-law, Edgar Mitchell, Sr. (Teresa) of Millsboro, DE, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
